Buying an apartment in Coimbatore will be most beneficial to you as the real estate market is blooming there. There are many upcoming new projects that you can invest in. Though not as expensive as Tier 1 cities in India, the market value of properties in Coimbatore is still on the rise, so this is the right time for you to invest in an apartment if you want to. You need to have around at least Rs. 75 lakhs if you want to buy really posh, luxury apartments in Purva Amaiti or Purva Bluemont. But on average a 3 BHK apartment in Coimbatore would cost around Rs. 30 – 50 lakhs.

It doesn’t matter if it is a 2 BHK or a 3 BHK, most apartments will have the same per square foot price for both kind of apartments. The square foot price will depend on the locality and the apartment complex that you want to buy the flat in. Places like Peelameedu, Saibaba Colony, Singanullur, Ramanathapuram and Avinashi Road have more expensive price rates (from Rs. 4000 to Rs. 5000/sq. ft). An average 2/3 BHK apartment of 1500 sq. ft there may cost you anything between Rs. 60 to 75 lakhs. Areas like R.S. Puram, Ramnagar, and Saravanampatti fall in slightly lower price bracket, with the price per square foot being around Rs. 3000 to 4000/sq. ft. An apartment there will cost you around Rs. 45 to 60 lakhs.
