I agree. Elavala is a pretty safe locality to live in. It is strategically located near both the city centre and the Bharath IT Park, which is the IT hub of Mysore. It is well connected with the Hebbal SEZ by a 4-lane highway; so commuting will be much easier for you.
Elavala is a town on its own, complete with facilities like hospitals, police stations, bus stands, and other government offices. It is already being developed under City Developer’s Strategy Plan (CDSP) and will be much more advanced and safe in a couple of years.

Yes, Elavala is quite safe to live in. It is quite close to the Infosys training centre, so plenty of young people live in this locality. This area gets good electricity and water supply, since it is close to all the major developmental areas of Mysore.
The Hunsur Road and the Ring Road connect this area with the rest of the city. And there are bus stands, from where buses leave every few minutes for different places around the city. So you wont be facing any problems if you have to commute on your own.

You need not worry. Elavala is a pretty safe place to live in. It is very close to the IT hub of Mysore – the Hebbal Industrial Estate. So, a lot of young IT professionals live in this area. If you are thinking of moving to this area, then you won’t have a problem in finding a place to stay in as there are plenty of good residential complexes in this area. You will also be able to find like-minded people to share an apartment with, in case you don’t want to live alone.
