Yes, I can tell you more about the BRTS. The bus stations will have prepaid payment facilities, ATMs, and public information systems. Buses will be low floor, air-conditioned and will have an Intelligent Transport System which uses GPS, as well as CCTV cameras and network surveillance. There will also be a control centre with traffic signal co-ordination. The BRTS will make your travel smoother and quicker. There are plans to add more buses to the fleet and connect other localities of Indore.

The BRTS, which is the Bus Rapid Transit System was first conceived in 2007. It is basically travelling in individual bus lanes which will reduce traffic congestion and reduce travel time. The buses first started running in May, 2013 on trial basis.
The entire length of the project will be 120 kilometres, with the first phase of the corridor 11.7 kilometres long and costing Rs.150 crores. The first phase of the project is only a pilot project, and connectivity to other parts of Indore will be done soon
