Realty Development in Hyderabad

Q: I’ve heard that the recent political unrest in Hyderabad has stalled all development. I’m a 27 year old software professional who is planning on relocating from Bangalore to Hyderabad, do you think Hyderabad holds any investment potential for me?

Hi! To answer your question, if you’re going to live in the parts of the city where the IT companies are, then you probably aren’t going to be complaining about a dearth of development. Leaving the IT sector aside, even education in Hyderabad is poised to prosper with the upcoming IIT-Hyderabad campus. Being a mathematics lecturer, this institute changes the general education scenario in Hyderabad for me. It’s going to be located nearby to Sangareddy as well as to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The recently elected Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has also said that he intends to emulate the Bangok model of the Skytrain System in Hyderabad to connect the city completely.

Hyderabad is now a joint capital for two different states, and the people have recently elected a new government to power. As far as I can see, the political climate in Hyderabad has relatively calmed down, and urban development is picking up again. Business is business after all. Being a software professional, I think you’d be interested to know more about the ITIR investment venture, which was recently sanctioned by the Union Government. The Information Technology Investment Region in Hyderabad aims to bring in investments to the tune of $44 billion and provide direct employment to 15 lakh people.

You really need to look into the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) being developed by the uber-rich realty giant, Delhi Land & Finance (DLF) Limited. It’s by far, one of the most promising ventures out there for a person associated with the IT industry. This SEZ is located in the heart of IT land in Hyderabad, between Gachibowli and Hitech City. A huge expanse of land has been allocated towards this project, which aims to offer topnotch workspace to IT companies with complete serviced apartments, luxury hotels, and retail and recreational facilities. Check it out, it might of interest to you as a software professional.

Hey there. It is true that Hyderabad has been in the middle of a political skirmish over the past few years, but I admit that fact while also insisting that urban development hasn’t really stalled. You see, Hyderabad is a huge city which has simply too big an economy to be completely deteriorating. While the economic conditions aren’t really in the healthiest of states, new projects promise to reinvigorate the system. The Hyderabad Metro Rail, for example, which is expected to cost a staggering Rs. 17,000 crores is being rapidly constructed even as I type these words down. The new government is already in place, and the general air in the place seems to be positive.
