Would like some Information on Connectivity and Amenities in GV Residency

Q: Hi people. My aunt is moving to Coimbatore, and she is going to be living with her husband and one son in the GV residency area. I want her to have a be comfortable in the area, so wanted to inquire about how the connectivity is in that area. Also, can people also tell me about the amenities around the area. Thanks.

the residential area is well supplemented by quite a few schools, hospitals and shopping centres near to the place. The locality is primarily residential in nature. the primary property you can find here is the induvidual houses only, i dont thing there are any known apartment project here.

this is much of a happening locale. with the proximity to the Avinashi road, the connectivity is a high point in this region actually. there are link roads that connect to major road. You cant say that the transportation facility is superb in this region, but, sure its a very good residential area.

Oh yea, no issues with finding basic amenities in the area. The whole area is surrounded with schools and colleges within a 6 km radius. Also, there are many multi-specialty hospitals around the area. Kovai medical center is like 3 kms from GV Residency, PSG hospitals is there only. Your aunt will not have any problem. Better if they have a vehicle, then no tension of changing buses and stuff. There are few restaurants like pizza corner and KFC also there at only 3-4 kms from the area.

Yea, road connectivity is good only. The link road is there, which isn't full of potholes or anything, because it is the highway, so it is well maintained. The area is in central Coimbatore Airport also isn't too far from here, only about 6-7 kms. The railway station bus stop at Gopalapuram is also about the same distance. Peelamedu railway is also very close by. Many grocery shops are there in the area, so no problem for your aunt to buy things for the kitchen. Also, if she is religious, many temples are also there in and around the neighborhood.

Hmm, I don’t think there are many direct buses to GV residency, but you should definitely get buses between Avinashi road and GV residency, and also Gandhinagar and GV residency. These two areas are connected very well via bus to other major areas, so that makes connectivity not so much of an issue from GV residency. Also, if not buses autos are available all the time, and they don’t charge too much either.

Hey there! That’s a nice thing you’re doing for your rent. GV residency is a pretty decent area. It is very close to Avinashi road, only about 5 kms. Also, it’s almost equidistant from Ramanathapuram as well, which is a well known residential area in Coimbatore. Now, GV residency is as fancy and happening as Avinashi road, nor is it super residential like Ramanathapuram. Just like how it is located in between the two, the area is also a mix of the two. Enough amenities around to peacefully live, connectivity also not bad at all.
