I agree with them, I have not come across many 'for rent' boards in R S Puram area. But doesn't mean you won't find any. You can get a decent 2 BHK flat at a monthly rent of Rs. 9000 approximately and a 3 BHK flat at a monthly rent of Rs. 30000 approximately. I'm not too sure about the rental taes for houses though.

I currently live in R S Puram and I do not know of many houses/apartments available on rental basis. Here property is more sale oriented. There are still a few options you can look up. A 2 BHK house with a ground space of 950/1000sq ft will cost you approximately Rs. 10,000 per month. If it is apartments, a 2 BHK (800 sq ft - 1200 sq ft) will cost you say Rs. 8,000 - Rs. 10,000 per month and a 3 BHK (1900 - 2200 sq ft) will cost you at least Rs. 30,000 per month. I hope this information was useful.

Hey, yes you can find houses for rent in R S Puram. I saw a few here, http://www.commonfloor.com/properties-for-rent-in-rs-puram/cfai-i4sgyu. Typically, in apartments, you can pick from a 2 BHK (850 - 1200 sq ft) or a 3 BHK (1900 - 2100 sq ft), and the rent per month would be Rs. 8000-10000 / Rs. 30000 respectively. It is pretty hard to come across places for rent here as R S Puram is mostly an area where people buy the house/apartment. Anyways, I hope you find a good place :)
