Latest Answer: Nowadays many families are moving towards RS Puram. Since only old houses are available for rent, the prices keep fluctuating depending on the utilities. Rs 12000 per month is a good estimate for a 1200 sq ft house.
Latest Answer: I agree with them, I have not come across many 'for rent' boards in R S Puram area. But doesn't mean you won't find any. You can get a decent 2 BHK flat at a monthly rent of Rs. 9000 approximately and a 3 BHK flat at a monthly rent of Rs. 30000 approximately. I'm not too sure about the rental taes for houses though.
Latest Answer: Hello there :) I have a family friend who stays in R S Puram, and from what I've heard (and seen for myself!) it's pretty much a well developed area. Many of the city's main government offices, commercial centers, tourist and cultural spots, schools and colleges, IT companies, restaurants, shopping malls etc are located in R S Puram. The State Electricity Board and Water Resources have offices here too. A lot of apartments have been constructed in the locality, and many more are under construction. There is also a huge floating population in here, because of all the commercial space. The public transport system here consists of buses, autos and trains which have different stations/stands in the area. DB Road is the primary centre, with Mettupalayam Road towards the East and Thadagam Road towards the West.
Latest Answer: Oh yes, I agree with you. A few of my relatives also have visisted both Sakthi Summit and Sakthi Rama Towers and they say sakthi Summit is the better of the two. Both the apartment complexes have 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats. Both offer baic amenities/facilities like security system, 24 hour water and power backup, lift, intercom and gym; Sakthi Summit has added facilities like that of a rainwater harvesting system, swimming bool, ATM/bank, cafeteria and indoor games.
Latest Answer: Hey, you've made a good choice I should say. R S Puram is a mix of residential and commercial spaces making it a prominent locality of Coimbatore city. It is well connected to the rest of the city and has hospitals, schools & colleges, ATMs, supermarkets, restaurants etc in the vicinity, making it a good locality to live in. Already established residential projects like Adroit Ivory, Mayflower Royale, Ramanis Vasavi, Srivari Anmol, Jain Ratna Apartments are well functioning and I believe there are a few apartments not yet sold. If you're looking at a buying a flat in a brand new apartment complex, you can go for one of these projects: Srivari Amrit, Saravana Velmurugan, Ramanis Lake Garden, Marutham Amber, Sakthi Rama Tower etc. 2 BHKs/3 BHKs (between 1100 & 2500 sq ft) are available at a price range of Rs. 65 lakhs to Rs. 2 crore and plus.
Latest Answer: My family and I fully support the plans to build two more biogas plants in the area! They're going to use 20 tonnes of waste a day, which means less waste piling up on our roads!
Latest Answer: The thing about India is, that even though people are aware about the importance of recycling, they literally need to be trained to do it properly. 80% of the companies in Coimbatore have already been issued notices to comply with the Shunya project. Not many have followed through efficiently enough but still this project has been of immense help to Coimbatore. Recycled materials are sold to ITC and other such IT companies. RS Puram was the perfect place to start this project because it really needed a proper system for waste disposal. Now that this facility is there, I suggest you go ahead and get an apartment there because the locality is really nice and well developed for Coimbatore standards.
