Q: Hey guys, I’m an expat, I just moved back to my hometown Hyderabad few weeks ago. I wanna invest in property here, is it too late for that? I mean, are the prices at their peak, or will there be any further capital appreciation? Please discuss.
Hyderabad has great potential in the real estate industry as of now and it is expected to grow further in the future, the prices arent as high as other cities in India. It has some very interesting and great projects coming up, by established companies. Almost all the big companies have properties in Hyderabad. Currently Mahindra Lifespaces Ashvita is the talk of Hitec City, prime locale, great price and high capital appreciation is expected. The best part is Mahindra Lifespaces have an NRI corner especially for Non-resident Indians looking to invest in India, they would be a safe and the best bet in this scenario.

Hey there Suresh! Welcome back to India. Its nice to see so many expats coming back home to India, and also investing in the real estate here. Actually there are many expats like yourself who have shown interest in the Hyderabad real estate. Just last year only, NRIs have invested over 2 billion dollars in the Indian real estate market. I think its a combination of the facts property prices have been stable right now and the rupee is also getting stronger, that has enabled this sudden interest from Indians overseas in the city’s real estate market.
Yeah he is right. There is still plenty of opportunity to invest in the Hyderabad real estate now. Best thing is that the new government at the centre is going to make a lot of changes in Hyderabad starting next year. But its still gonna take some time so implement them. Prices are gonna go up only from now on, so make sure that you invest before all the construction work for these developments is completed.
No dude! You’re not late. I mean, yeah the prices have been rising steadily ever since we started getting a hint of which way the Telengana decision was headed, but the market isn’t stopping here. There is plenty more to come for Hyderabad, the biggest of these being the upcoming ITIR. You know, the IT investment region. That is going to open up a number of job opportunities in Hyderabad, which will impact the real estate positively. And you know what that means, good news for all home owners. You can choose to sell it off then, or rent it out for a steady source of income.
