The tehsildars find this device useful. They actually make once in 15 days updates to the government about land status. But hopefully this process will continue to work efficiently Let's hope the devices don't get spoilt or become unused.

Hey. Sometime last year the government had trained these tehsildars on how to use this device. Now they have all been given gadgets and everything.

Government is using Town Survey Land Records in order to identify which portions belong to government. Then they are building fences around vacant properties to prevent encroachment. GHMC will also supply data to government about these pieces of land.

Basically now the tehsildars will have to take pictures of the land, state who owns it, what they're going to do with it, and other such land details. They will all also be given a survey number they have to enter. Seems quite simple but hopefully everyone will know how to use the tablet.

reason of this is because government wants to keep a check on government land that it has allotted for various purposed like education, SC, ST, BC welfare, minorities and housing. But even then nothing is being developed on the land. So now government wants to make routine checks to ensure that development is actually taking place.

Yes. Also, the government wants to establish land banks in all the villages in Hyderabad. But for this up to date info on government property is required, but this data is not delivered regularly. Thta's why these tabs may help.

Yes Hyderbad is the first district on the state to use android based tablets to give updates on government land. This was implemented by the collected and distributed to 16 mandals in Hyderabad.
