MUDA housing projects delay

So far the housing projects have been delayed indefinitely, and over 2,46,947 site applications are pending approval.

They are siting various reasons behind not having these meetings. One of them is the election code of conduct. Ive heard that they have even blamed the upcoming Dasera festivities for not meeting.

Yes, all this is true, but dont worry BJP legislator said that if the MUDA dont hold a meeting even in the month od Sept, then he's going to bring the issue to the CM's attention.

Even distribution of sites in MUDA's own layouts like RT Nagar has halted. Though the day-to-day work goes on without any hindrances, there has been no proper decision making regarding policies or finances.

Its bad because several important decisions are pending. No final decision has been taken on the new CDP plan sent to it by the government. They are also yet to approve various private and other layout plans.

Yes they are also supposed to address the complaints of the people, other than road laying and repairs, drainage works, maintenance and management of gardens in Muda layouts, formation of new layouts and distribution of sites, etc

Yes the last MUDA meeting held was the March 12 budget session. Because of this, a number of projects have failed to take off, or have been delayed

9 months to be precise. These meetings are supposed to be every month, so this long gap has obviously created issues in the housing project.

Yes. This is true. And one of the major reasons behind this delay is that there havent been any MUDA meetings over the past secveral months.
