Erection of Lift in Setback Area

Q: Ours is G+3 twenty year old building without lift. Now we want a Lift. The only space available is near the staircase in the side setback area of ten feet width. Is it allowed by CMDA?

Hi,
Minimum space required for installing lift in any apartment is 6 ft but vary according to properties condition and physical space of properties required for installing lift. there are various type of Elevator is available in market which fit in low space.
