Make sure you do not have the Mandir in SE or South corner else you will observe that you can hardly meditate; in a few cases inmates of the house hardly have time to say hello to God :) You can place it anywhere except South, SE and of course never in the master bedroom. If you can worship while facing North, East or North East- it will be great. Incase, such a direction is not possible and you have to face WEST while worshipping - the simple remedy is to hang a small mirror on the west wall so that what you would see through it would be the east direction while praying. apart from all in the recent flood casa was fully flooded, but i live in temple green very peacefully, there was not even power cut.
i was a happy tenant living there and i have decided to buy in Temple Green land at 1600 persqft and build my own house.
