Q: I am looking to buy property in Varthur. I just want an overview of the locality. information about the type of place it is.

What is the price trend going on in Varthur? Any chance of property price going up?

According to Knight Frank report, Varthur is expected to see an upward trend by 61% to Rs 7,000 from Rs 4,350 because the area is close to the major employment hubs of Whitefield and Outer Ring Road stretch.

but now a days varthur lake is becoming headache to customers to buy flat or to buy plot .once enquire regarding this it may become a huge problem in future.Due to this lake foam it may lost its demand.and they offer for low rates also

I agree with Shekar, even I heard that people residing around the Varthur Lake in posh Whitefield in Bengaluru have complained to the authority many times but in vain.

It is better to invest in Varthur as it is surrounded by IT hubs. If you are thinking of buying now in the near future the price is expected to get doubled. :) :)

The upcoming infrastructure in the vicinity is the game changer for the locality. The Metro station at Hope Farm a short distance away would also serve as a major plus point. Varthur is also home to some of the best schools in Bengaluru, with large campuses. A link road via Panathur offers easy access to the ORR.

Varthur is developing as a favoured residential destination by the IT people due to the competitive pricing. Presently, the road acts as a corridor to the preferred residential and commercial markets in Whitefield, Old Airport and Sarjapur ORR. Varthur has gained the momentum when the demand for residential property in Whitefield ler developers to look for land in the neighborhood at relatively lower rates.Right now a lot of development happening off the main road.

In the July-Sep 2014, the locality price going on is Rs 3583. The unique selling point of this locality is its strategic location between the ORR and Whitefield, with good access to both Sarjapur Road and NH-207 leading to the international airport.
