Detailed information about the progress of development sites in Mysore
Q: hai all, there is a work going on to develop some sites by the mysore corporation, no? What actually is it for? Will it help the real estate of the city?
hey, there are 53 sites of 20 ft x 30 ft dimension. for this site, there were 47 applicants. two sites are 50 ft x 80 ft sites. for this, there were 296 applications. The highest number of application was for site that had the area 40 ft x 60 ft. The number of applicants were 331.
The exact area that has been identified is 770 acres that lies in four villages including Ballahalli as well as Kerghalli. There is plan to create four layout in these areas with numerous sites. At the same time, 71 sites were distributed to noted persons under the "H" category.
ya..ya...the H category is located in the newly-developed Lalbahadur Shasthri Nagar and Shantaveri Gopalgowda Nagar. an interesting thing is that three freedom fighter T Puttanna, H Javeragowda and Amruthamma were allotted 40 ft x 60 ft site. Thus, it showed that the MUDA is recognizing the freedom fighters and selected them for this particular H category site.
actually, this allocation is done on the basis of various reservations. This means that the people who have achieved excellence and have got awards at international, national, state, and district level. Among these people, those who were residents of mysore were given the first priority.
i think the work of the project is running late. The work had to be started six months earlier. this was when the MUDA officials went to seek the land from the farmers because they were upset with them for delaying the settlement of the compensation. there are at least 82,881 applications pending with it.
oh, cool. when you peep through the issue, we can see that there is a good sharing between the farmers as well as MUDA. The thing works out like this - the MUDA gets 60 percent of the developed sites while the farmers will get 40 percent.
exactly. along with clearing the applicants seeking the sites, the state government as well as the muda is trying to reach out to the farming community to take part with their landholding and get the sites in return instead of the cash compensation. I really appreciate this idea from the part of the government.
Actually, the mysore urban development authority has identified around 800 acres of land in the outskirts of the city for developing the proposed layout. The MUDA has already approached the state government to seek its approval to partner with the landowners for the development site.
yeah, in the area that is identified by the muda, no, the authorities are planning to develop at lease 18000 sites there. The good news here is that the farmers have agreed to partner with the urban body for this development project.
Hi there, the Mysore Urban Development Authority are now ready to develop numerous layouts. To be precise, their plan is to develop around 18000 sites in and around mysore city. I think more of the outskirts of the city are focused in this project. so, obviously there would be a manifold increase in the rates of the land there.
