Q:Hello there, i am really interested to know more about the growth of mysore on the property front. Can anyone provide me some information about this. What is the trend of this growth?
Latest Answer: one of the things that hamper the growth of the city is the delaying of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP). It was actually expired in 2010. if the delay is continuing, the growth of the city would be in shambles. But, I think there is a vertical upward growth that is concentrated in the areas like JP Nagar and Bogadi.
Q:hai all, there is a work going on to develop some sites by the mysore corporation, no? What actually is it for? Will it help the real estate of the city?
Latest Answer: Hi there, the Mysore Urban Development Authority are now ready to develop numerous layouts. To be precise, their plan is to develop around 18000 sites in and around mysore city. I think more of the outskirts of the city are focused in this project. so, obviously there would be a manifold increase in the rates of the land there.
Q:Hello there, wasn't the NICE project's work started long ago? What is the status of the work now? How is this project affecting the real estate of the area?
Latest Answer: Ya ya.. this development project will open huge opportunities for both the skilled and unskilled labourers. I suppose that apart from the affected families, all other local population is going to benefit from the BMIC project. The project is actually aimed at helping the people of the region with basic infrastructure facilities as well as other modern amenities.

Q:Hi all, i just happened to read in the papers that the Outer Ring Road project is facing some obstacles. What exacly is this project? can anyone give me some info about this project. thanks in advance :)
Latest Answer: there is one more reason for this issue, ok...this is the railway under bridge work. But, i think this will be resolved through negotiations between the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Railway authorities. But, i think fund is also another issue. in 2013, the MUDA proposed to impose toll on the roads as well as charge extra cess from the people who owned land by the roadside. this could tackle the problem of lack of fund.
Q:Hello there, wasn't there a news that the mysore airport is going to be expanded? what is the further development in this field? can anyone provide some info regarding this?
Latest Answer: yeah, in my opinion, the airport should be expanded as fast as possible because if it does not do so, Mysore will lose out to other cities. even though NHAI is stern on upgrading the highway, i think they have plans to start the upgradation of NH 212 from Kadakola by sparing the land that is required for the airport expansion.
Q:Hey there, I recently happened to hear that Mysore has some serious issues relating to connectivity between Bangalore as well as other cities. Will this affect the investments that are coming in to Mysore?
Latest Answer: But, i think, this issue will be resolved if we make the four lane into a six lane. It will reduce the travel distance between the two major cities of Karnataka. I think there is a decision by the government on this regard.
