Q: Got a job recently in Rajiv Nagar, so will be moving there. Please give me some idea about the place. Will I get an apartment for rent? And what are the prices like? Any info about this place will be helpful.
The thing that I find the most reassuring about Rajiv Nagar is that the medical and healthcare infrastructure is so solid here, that I dont have to worry about where to go for treatment in case of any emergencies. The Central and the Fathima Matha Hospitals are both there. There is even a surgical hospital called the Narayana Hrudalaya Surgical Hospital.
Lots of smaller grocery and provision stores in the place. Sri Balaji stores, National Store, Aamna General Store, SS Provision store, Mohammadia stores, etc. The commercial growth of this place is also happening slowly. The NSS Glass shop is a prominent glass and mirror provider in the region
I know young people like yourself will want to live near some good restaurants or cafes no. Rajiv Nagar has a few of those, eg - Star Paradise, New Bismillah Hotel, Pavithra Military Hotel, Murthy Hotel, etc. There is a tea spot also, called the A S Tea Cool Parlor. Also the Sai Chat shop is a common fav place to enjoy spcy snacks in the evneing.
Hey I dont think there are that many apartments over here. There are quite a few individual houses here though, and they all sell for a lofty Rs 6750 per sq feet. Renting something like this might cost you anywhere between Rs 10 to 15 per sq feet per month.
Hey not just the Ring Road, there is also the Mahadevapura road which acts as a major connector for Rajiv Nagar. There are lots of residential colony features in this locality, like provisions stores, ample greenery in the form of small parks and gardens, etc.
You dont worry about finding a place here. Enough houses for rent over here. In fact if you want you can also rent outside the locality as it is pretty well connected by the Ring Road to its neighbourhoods.
