Yup. The minister that was mentioned is the Urban Development and Administration Minister. He has said that Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for the first phase of the Indore and Bhopal projects are currently being prepared, while studies are being conducted for Jabalpur and Gwalior projects on whether or not it will work out.

True. Here's some updates. If the Indore- Bhopal project goes well and works according to plan , the light metro services will then be introduced in other cities like Jabalpur and Gwalior to meet the uncontrollable demand of a proper public transport system.

You know what this can do, right? If the light metro happens then the real estate in Indore will grow multiple folds. It is growing now but it isn't enough. Indore has potential to be a top metropolitan city. Through such projects it can be fulfilled.

Yes. I read the same news too. You know one great thing is if this comes to happen. Also this would be the first ever Light Metro Project in India. This could sky rocket the view people hold in the whole of India towards Indore.

Hey, yes. I heard about the Light Metro Project that could come up by the year 2018 which is three years away from now. This update was given by Kailash Vijaywargiya, a reputed minister from the ruling party of the Madhya Pradesh Government.
