Is it good to invest in outskirts of Bangalore

Q: In places like Nelamangala there are new layouts coming up, on Agri lands. Is this a good investment?

City outskirts cut out the best deal for an investor, willing to take the plunge and buy properties on Bangalores peripheral locations. As per experts, properties in the outskirts of Bangalore have been doing well on account of 2Ds- demand and development.

Which are the key areas that are going to see development in the future?

Mainly South Bangalore because of better connect with Electronic City through the NICE Road
The ORR-Marathahalli-Whitefield area and beyond will be in demand
Kengeri, Varthur, Begur and Devanahalli are the areas you can look for.

The long-term investors have already reaped huge benefits, by sowing the seeds of investment in city outskirt assets. As per experts, properties in the outskirts of Bangalore have been doing well on account of 2Ds- demand and development.

nvesting in real estate assets is often conceived as the safest route to higher returns. However, looking for a location to invest which can guarantee maximum returns remains the unsolved challenge. In Bangalore, a centrally situated villa or apartment in a well-to-do locality will be the ideal place to put up, however, questions are often raised for such areas when it comes to investing for better returns. For such a purpose, city outskirts cut out the best deal for an investor, willing to take the plunge and buy properties on Bangalores peripheral locations.

Hello Dhanu, Yeah it is a good idea to invest in the outskirts of Bangalore. You can go for localities like Devanahalli, Yelahanka, IVC Road and Hebbal.

I do not think it is a good idea to invest in a locality that is coming up on agricultural land.

You can actually invest but make sure that the land is DC converted. DC Converted means the conversion of land from 'agricultural' (i.e. land that can only be used for farming according to the government, and hence assessed for tax accordingly) to 'residential'. DC stands for District Commissioner, the officer who has the authority to approve such conversions. DC converted sites are usually eligible for bank loans.
