Can anyone tell me about the road extension project in Thammanam Pullepady road?

Q: Hi, I heard that the Thammanam - Pullepady Rd is being extended? Is it true? I'm moving here soon and would like to know more about this road link project.

They make such a fuss about everything saying that the government does not have enough funds for developing land. Even the work for flyovers at Vytilla and Kundanoor were scheduled to begin in September, 2014, but is yet to commence.

Hey, I have heard that a few members of the planning commision visited the site of the flyover and suggested that the flyover and the metro should be concealed at some places in order to save land, because at it is there is not much space available in the area.

Council came into action only after the public made an issue about the widening of the road. The council passed a resolution in the early 2014 and the road was then handed over to PWD, who later replied saying there were not enough funds for the project.

Hey, the work for the road should have started a long time back and it should have been completed by now. The people living near the road had already surrendered their land, in order to widen the road, to the government ages ago.

Hi, The state government is providing a fund of Rs. 50 crores for the extension of the Thammanam-Pullepady Road. It is one of the busiest and the most used roads in Ernakulam and it's extension is the need of the hour.
