These days paying guest business has become quite common. You can rent a flat or an individual house and put it for PG purpose. It is really doing good. The rental returns depends and the resale value of the property depends on which locality you are opting for.

Demerits of buying a PG Property: The authority has decided to make paying guest accommodations pay property tax at commercial rates instead of residential rates. This means a steep increase, because the property tax for commercial property is double the rate of residential property.
