Hey, I think that the court has also held that the draft data bank which was prepared by the Local Level Monitoring Committee should be followed by the Government authorities for all the possible purposes until the final draft has been prepared.
Ya…then, it was a fair decision in the end no? the special government pleader PK Soyuz proved to the court that the RDO doesn't have the power to declare a land as wet land or paddy land under the 2008 Paddy Land Act.
I got to know that the companies had argued just like you mentioned here. The Revenue Divisional Officer has found that their lands which is totalling to about 27.37 acres, have been found to fall outside the purview of the Paddy Land Act of 2008.
Yeah..according to the petitioners, the three companies, Adani Infrastructure, Adani Landscape and Aaloka Real estate have purchased a land of around 11.65 acres, 11.65 acres and 3.96 acres at Kizhakkambalam in Kochi for constructing multi storeyed buildings. I got to know that they lost the case.
Sure, The ruling by the HC was passed by a bench of Acting Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice AM Shaffique. This was while considering an appeal filed by Mumbai based Adani Infrastructure and developers, Ahmedabad based Adani Landscape Pvt. Ltd., as well as the mumbai based Ashoka Real Estate regarding the land they bought at Kizhakkambalam in Kochi. The plea was actually rejected.
Hi there, first of all, I need to inform you that very recently only, there was a similar issue raised by one party one to the High court of Kerala. It said that if a land in included in the draft data bank by the Local Level Monitoring Committee (LLMC) as wetland or paddy land, the finding in the opposite effect by the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) has no relevance.
