But let me tell you, the mayor is actually spoiling his chances with this. I don't think they will complete this projects. But here's what hes said about that The projects can continue during the tenure of the next council. The local body will execute all projects listed in the Mission Kochi programme

Again, you know the mayor of Kochi has defended his part's action as he has said that there are no hard and fast rules which says that the corporation should not start new projects in the final phase of a council's tenure.

The corporation has defended themselves saying that they have actually started working on other projects too. Though the GPS tracking system has not been put in place, the corporation has procured covered vehicles for disposing waste. But I am not sure how reliable this is.

Hey. No the Kochi Corporation has actually started these projects with the support of state government. But their tenure would soon come to an end. So, they would be saved the trouble of ensuring the completion and commissioning of these projects

The local councillors have blamed the ruling UDF party for trying to earn brownie points as the election is nearing and thet they were trying to earn people's tust through the announcement But by the looks of it. I don't think going well for them.

Yes. The thing is the koch icorporation had said that it would take till August 15 of this year to complete all of these projects. But you see only 4 projects have received any sort of Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and the other 28 are nowhere to be seen.

Kochi Corporation were very ambitious as they announced a total of 32 projects as a part of its Mission Kochi program but only a handful of them have been worked on while the others have no news circling around them.
Ayesha Bibi

Hello. Can you tell me about these four projects that have the DPRs?
