Cauvery water supply in Bangalore

Q: I am basically from Pune but shifting to Bangalore next month so want to know which all areas are having cauvery water connection.

The water problem can be solved if all the government buildings apply the rain water harvesting method seriously dig up open wells let the water made to flow till it over flows, increase the number of wells, make wells as depth as 40 feet.

All the lakes in Bangalore City is getting dried slowly and the ground water level is fast depleting and the population of our city is increasing everyday. One of the solution to fight back water crisis in the city is to start restoring the lakes.

Most of the residential project in Bangalore rely on water supplied through tankers because of improper water supply in the city. Moreover rainwater harvesting is merely symbolic in the Garden city. Out of 18 lakh properties, only 44,000 houses have rainwater harvesting structures.
