Hi Ranjit, For any alteration you have to take permission. Procedure for preparation of building plan and getting the same passed shall be followed as the procedure for addition / alteration or repairing of a building.In case of addition or alteration or repair of the existing buildings provisions.
Whether buyer can apply for this permission ? Or only builder are eligible ? I am buyer I am facing this problem with builder and builder is not interested for this NOC and saying there will not be any problem. What should I do now ? pls.
Yes, it is mandatory to take legal permission from the local authority with NOC. This comes under The West Bengal Municipal (Building) Rules, 2007. So consult with legal expert he will file a mandatory document in this regards.
