Hi ,
As per sources, the following hearing about the case is scheduled for mid-October, with the committees anticipated that would present their reports before that. NGT had before requested development of a seven-member committee to test infringement of its prohibition on groundwater extraction in Noida and Greater Noida, taking after a CGWB report indicating rapid decrease in groundwater levels in both locations.
Yogendra

As indicated by sources, the CGWB report had even recommended that to limit a spree in home-purchasing as investment, purchasers be confined to have one house per family, in this way avoiding unwanted utilization of ground water. If this ground water issue will not be resolved by time, then there will be scarcity of water specially in Noida & Greater Noida.

Hi Guys,
Through prior requests, NGT has made it compulsory for builders to utilize only STP processed water at the construction sites. But objections about groundwater extraction for construction are not extraordinary. NGT had set up a comparable committee in 2013, to examine construction sites about illicit water use. With the latest order, the green court expanded the extent of the survey to incorporate all cities of NCR.

Very strict actions will be made against any real estate builder observed to be mocking NGT rules. Senior GNIDA authorities have given out comparative guidelines to their project engineers.

As per sources, in year 2013, NGT had controlled all builders in Noida and Greater Noida from pulling out groundwater for construction or some other reason. However while listening to a plea with respect to illegal groundwater extraction, NGT requested a committee to perform a surprise investigation at construction areas in Delhi-NCR & report will be submitted before October 13, 2015.

Hey Neel Sharma,
As per latest news, a few residents are planning to protest at the CM window. Those homes lie near to the water body and it is in the lower range. The normal stream of the water is towards the range. If the encroachment by authority proceeds with, it will be difficult to abstain from flooding in those homes.
Srishti

@ Neel Sharma,
Claiming the water body has been procured improperly by HUDA, legal expert retired colonel SS Oberoi, said that, according to law, no authority can secure a natural water body. But an authority can acquire an artificial water body, that also with the authorization for land use alternatively. HUDA has not followed that and even didn't get authorization from the MoEF. Which is illegal.

Hi Neel Sharma,
As indicated by sources, Gurgaon had 14 lakes as well as regular natural drains in year 2000, yet just 30 of them are identifiable now. Ghata lake, for instance, was a regular natural water body that helped energize groundwater for a long time. On the other hand, persistent development movement in the area ruined it.

Hey Guys,
Random development has obstructed water channels and those drains that interlinked them. The outcome is the drainage system not allowing the rainwater to flow.So that causing waterlogging. In the meantime, Gurgaon's groundwater stores are diminishing due to the fact that normal water bodies are no more accessible for reviving.

@ Neel Sharma,
According to the people living near to pond, gated societies in this region are likewise not insusceptible from water logging in spite of a higher elevation due to the fact that the pond is going away. Prior, water used to stream into surrounding homes, however now, it is rushing towards plotted houses as well as gated societies, as well.

@ Neel Sharma,
HUDA is the owner of the land. As water doesn't stream into the water body any longer, the land can be utilized for different purposes. However, the truth is the lake still exists and is secured with water plants. However development authority said, the land (where the water body is located) will no doubt be utilized for building a group housing project & a hospital.

Hey Guys,
RWA president of Sector 47, Virender Tyagi said that it is shocking that HUDA doesn't comprehend the significance of the natural water body for individuals living near to it. If it rained for 3 days, the whole sector suffocated in water. Suppose the water body is sold off for development projects, there will be no way to release the rain water, that will create a very worse situation.

Hi Neel,
A water body on HUDA land in Sector 47 confronts termination as a result of feverish real estate movement around it, reflecting the bad approach to deal with arranging that has denied Gurgaon of groundwater energize sources and in the meantime waterlogging inclined, as the rain showed recently.

@ Neel Sharma,

According to the most recent news, occupants of the Gurgaon as well as city based environmentalists worried about Jharsa johad one of village pond may vanish very soon as the development authority is auctioning off land around it to developers as well as developing roads.
