I am planning to buy a land at developing and decent residential location at chennai. My budget is a bit low, less than 35 lakhs. Could you please suggest a good growing location where I can buy. This is basically not for investment. I am planning to build a house at later date. What about Kovur and East Tambaram? Any other good locations that will suit my budget? Please suggest.

Localities like Urapakkam, Guduvanchery and Maraimalai Nagar is showing great potential growth. As per my knowledge, apart from connectivity, security and infrastructure pushes up the housing demand here. Tambaram East is directly connected to the State Highway 10, Grand South Trunk (GST) Road, Velachery Road and the Outer Ring Road (ORR). It offers better transportation facilities over the West, with wider roads. The Tambaram Railway Station is at a distance of 2 km and the Chennai Airport at 10 km through the Velachery-Tambaram High Road.
Tambaram East is seeing maximum demand for property within Rs 30-40 lakh budget range. This is because of the presence of the IT belt and SEZ within a radius of 2-3 km of the locality. Professionals working in these companies can stretch their budget to Rs 45 lakh, driving demand for housing within this budget, especially for 2BHK units.
