According to sources, the appreciation of apartments, average price has gone up in the last decade (2005-15). The appreciation depends on the localities, some localities has seen good appreciation and some has seen marginal appreciation.

Demand in areas like JP Nagar and Kanakapura Road is primarily driven by the upcoming metro line. Unlike Whitefield, where prices have touched Rs 8,100 per sqft , Sarjapur and Hosur Road remain good locations for budget housing with prices remaining below Rs 5,000 per sqft.
