Hi Folks,
But it is clearly mentioned in the NGT Guidelines that builders will have to follow the specific rules during construction of a building. These include daily sprinkling of the water on the dust and road surrounding the construction area, removing dust from the road, covering the area under construction with sheets as well as covering trucks carrying sand, cement, debris and bricks, and so on.

Yes Bulbul,
Even DCEO Srivastava has been very hopeful in addressing the matter that the builders are not listening to Authority Officials and they are not obeying rules as well.

But this time they are very careful and a team of Authority officials led by the DCEO surveyed sectors 74 and 75 on April 3 following another complaint by the residents on last Sunday. During the survey, Srivastava gave time till Monday to some of the builders otherwise they will levy penalty on them.

Good Afternoon Hritwik!!!!
About 100 residents living in societies like J M Orchid, Elite Homes, Amarpali Silicon City, Prateek Wisteria and Skytech Matrott in Noida's sector-74/75/76 and 77 have complained of just pollution because of construction work in the area. They have also complained that builders are not following the norms which in turn is causing health issues.
Supratim

It is true Supratim. And in spite of repeated complaints to the Noida Authority, there has been no action for the last 6 months. they have approached the area junior engineer, additional chief operating officer, district magistrate Nagendra Prasad Singh and even the National Green Tribunal but it did not yield any results.
