Q:Hi,Based on the reference provided I had engaged a carpenter called Kannivelu to do some work in my flat. Initially he was enthusiastic but wanted an advance all the time and would work for about 5 hrs ( He will report at 9.00 am) and then he will snooze for about 2 hrs in the afternoon saying he has back pain and would want to buy material for another hour or so. He made me buy some material and then stopped coming from the next day and gives some reason or the other and everytime I call he will say that he will come tomorrow. When I enquired about him with the neighbours they informed that he was always like this not trustworthy and will not finish his job on time and then he will abandon. ...... I wanted to know if anyone else has had this experience with him so that we could ensure that we do not unnecessarily get engaged with workers like him and waste our time.Incidentally his work is also slipshod and needs continuous monitoring.RegardsPrabuB7C
Q:Flat 3K is owned by my brother R G Raghavan, who lives in Tanjore. He has spent over 20,000 rs. last year and repaired the leakage, which is coming out of the bathroom from flat 4K. We have complained time and again but the owner of flat 4K is totally uncooperative.
