Q: We liked a resale flat the building is around 8 years old.The owner said the land is A khata however the flat is B khata as the broker had made an error while making the agreement. It would cost around 10,000 to get it changed.He also showed us the loan sanctioned by SBI for the previous buyer who couldn't complete the deal as he got a job in another country. Please advice how do we go about it.

Q: Hi , we have 30 flats in our apartment, we need to form an association, can we register under "Register of societies"? I came to know from one lawyer, Karnataka govt stopped registering under this,is it true? or please let us know under which we need to register

Q: Hello Experts,

I wanted to buy a flat but its OC ( occupency certificate ) is missing / not available, owner says its a 8 years old building and back then this was not necessary.

Its a A khata building, so is it safe to buy it ? or if there is any workaround like it can be later recovered some how ?

I am planning to buy a resale flat in an apartment and i have few doubts as mentioned below:

- Documents required that needs to be collected from the seller for verification ?
- Apart from Sale price of flat what are the other expenses that i need keep in mind ?
- How do i get the documents verified i.e in short ensure nothing forged ?
- Any other tips and tricks best practices ?
