A Red Zone is an area near defence installations where no construction is allowed due to security reasons. The local residents are demanding reduction of the flagging of Red Zone areas around Dehu Road Ammunition Depot (DAD).
It is estimated that around 50000 families are believed to be affected by the Red Zone in the Dehu Road cantonment area.
