Q:Hi, I have got possession of my Flat on October 2013 and this year I have received property tax for 3 years (2013-2015).I just wanted to know that when property tax started to calculate after getting the possession.As per my understanding its started as soon as you received the possession and calculated on every 6 months. In my case I have received possession in month of October 2013 so for year 2013 my property tax should be for half year instead of full year? While as per tax bill they are charging full year (2013) of tax.Please provide correct information.
