Q:GOOD DAY SIR, I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A GRAMA NATHAM LAND AT URAPAKKAM, LAND OWNER HAS A UNREGISTERED 20RS STAMP PAPER SAYING THAT HE IS THE OWNER AND HE SAID HE DID NOT OBTAIN PATTA. IM IINTERESTED IN THAT LAND. IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A REGISTRATION ON THE PROPERTY ON OWNERS NAME ITSELF. WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION NORMS AND FEES.?

As you are saying that owner has received patta in 2008 during DMK rule and 5 years down the line, the land can be registered, I suggest you that not to take any decision in a haste while registering the land. Kindly take the help of an advocate who would be better person to resolve the issue.
