Q: Why the land owners are refusing to hand over the lands for the construction of the educational institute?

Latest Answer: Yeah this is very true, recently a similar case happen in Kolkata. An employee of a private company who own a flat at Kush Apartment has been registered in someone else’s name even though the former have all the original documents with him. Its really shocking.

Q: My father took land in Patna without registry. I want to know can I get my land. He paid half of the money. I do not know the location but I have the papers.

If you have original registry paper then you can go to the court and find out your property. But as per your information your father paid half of the money without registry paper, so I think that will be a big problem. If you don’t have the original documents I don’t think you can claim for the land, as the court may ask you for the original papers for verification. So it is better to take advice from your legal expert.
