Q: The state government is seriously considering to handover the digitization of land records to private contractors, keeping out the public sector giant Survey of India (SoI).
Latest Answer: And it is also come to know that govt. is planning to make the survey of land measurement necessary for all registrations to avoid duplication as well as false measurements in the land records. The government cleared proposals put forwarded by the survey and land records wing to take up digitisation of FMBs as it offers greater freedom in making sub-division of land at field level.
