Alipore and new Alipore are part of South Kolkata real estate segment. Considered to be one of the posh and upmarket real estate areas in Kolkata, it may be difficult to get a prime piece of land in Alipore. Most builders and developers have already procured most open spaces and are working on various residential townships and other commercial centers. Building a piece of Land and then constructing on it may escalate the costs. I would not suggest that unless you have some very good civil construction background. For residential apartments the price ranges between Rs 14,000 to Rs 18,000 per square feet in Alipore.
