I left Lake Shore Tower, Appt 3205 in March this year. I was fed up with the constant litter and cigarette ends being dropped onto my terrace from apartments above. I am still waiting to receive the refund of my deposit. Roots land have proved to be absolutely useless so far, and now will not respond to my e mails or requests. So who do I talk to next?

Excellent advice Suresh, but I only have contact via the managing agents, Roots Land, and they will not give me the landlord's details. It's very frustrating!

If landlord is not returning your deposit, contact him or request him for refund. If there is no positive response email/mail him a formal letter requesting refund within 15 days from receipt of the mail/letter. After 15 days, contact a legal expert and send him a court notice. Still no response, then file a case against landlord for the same.
