What is the process for getting property tax asessed?

Q: Hi , I constructed my house after getting approvals from BBMP . Based on approval , I have got electricity , water , sewage connection approval also . I have started getting regular electricity bills also .

1)How will get my property tax asessed ?

2)Is there any more documents I should go far like occupany certificate , changes in khata etc . Please let me know the process

Hi Mukund ,
Thanks .. i already have khata number (Khata A) ..I have been paying tax online since past many years for empty site . Now I need to payfor house as well...so what is the process (hom I should approach , what doc to carry , how much time it will take etc)

@Bhat: For getting property tax asessed you must have your property details. You can visit your BBMP Citizens’ service center or visit registration office and find out your property id by giving your property details such as ward it belongs to, property number & when or where registered etc. These will help officials to give your property id number. Once you get Property id number, you can easily know how much tax has been paid till now and what is outstanding. Thank you
