Q: Hi I am investing in a State Government society through a friend of mine who is employed
there and buying a plot via him. Once the plot is allotted to him we will share that among us as he is taking a big plot considering me.As I cannot directly get it.
My question is it possible to
1.Share the land once the allotment of plot happens
2.Also is it possible that out of the big plot if required I can retain my piece and my friend can sell it off to somebody else as prices shoots up I mean no both the plot are different although its part of bigger chunk.

As the allotment of this big plot will happen for at least after 7 to 8 years. So is it a safe investment for me and will it be profitable investment for me.
Also the sum that I am paying right now will there be any chance that price of the plot while allotment can increase seeing the duration of allotment

Nikhil, I think it is better if you go for Co-buying or Co-purchasing option, so that both of you will have ownership rights on the property bought. Things wont remain the same even after 7 to 8 years. It is advisable to take legal opinion.
