I have not transferred the KATHA in my name.

Q: The flat owner has to transfer the KATHA on his name after purchase from the builder which I have not done so far. All have to do that. Kindly advise me the proceedure to do the transfer. What are the documents needed and the amount to do the same?

Hi.. yes you are right.. it is necessary to do Khata transfer.. The documents needed are- i. Title deed
ii. Tax paid receipts and Khatha details
iii. Sketch of your property showing its boundaries and location of site
iv. Improvement Charges
v. National Saving Certificates for Rs.200/-
vi. Encumbrance certificate for vacant sites
vii. Flow chart of title
