Q: Is it necessary to check the builder's background when he is selling a ready to move in apartment and the work seems to be good?

Yeah you should check the track records of the builder and then only decide whether you are going to buy a flat from them or not.

But many builders show the last 5 years picture only.. like how many projects they ve done recently.. but this builder gives a warranty.. like if anything goes wrong to the building in the next 5 yrs he will repair it free of cost..

is he promising orally about the 5 years warranty ? then he is fooling you, ask him to give a written statement on bond paper, will he?
