Mantri Navaratna asking 100% payment before construction completion
Q: I have booked an apartment in Mantri Navaratna and they had planned to deliver the apartment my Mar/Apr 2013. As of now, I don't think they will be able to make it. Thay have been asking us to make 100% payment even before they finish construction. But the document says to pay 100% only when handover of apartment. I'm trying to get hold of other owners so we can form a group here. Anybody else having the same issue?

i booked an apartment in Oct 2011 G-Block, feel very bad about the Mantri Group b'cause of their concern lethargic attitude towrads the cutomers, 3 promises was made for possesion , passed over, a compensation of 3% per sq.ft for 1 year delay is nothing, how many days will it take a get a CMDA CC" i don't know , now they are telling by Mar 14 they will give the possession, will this happen or not? not whorthy to buy the apartment in Mantri
Spread the news about Mantri, how they give false commitments, poor quality of construction, not completing the project in time that too very long delay of 1 yr+, no proper response to customer query also these guys talk rudely sometimes(a person named Lokesh speaks as though we are his servants, I had a blast at him several times)
Booked a flat on July, 2011. BIGGEST MISTAKE ever I did in my life. Mantri soon going to start a new project in Pallavaram. We definitely have to help/save people NOT TO BUY from this builder.
Friends, Almost every owner of Mantri Navaratna worrying now. Please invest your valuable/hard-earned money with some other builders. Mantri - Real Cheater.

Yes, there has been inordinate delay in completion of the project against committed delivery dates. The compensation is absolutely paltry. Mantri, is too rigid keeps quoting on company policies on everything. They are absolutely inflexible to customers. Not worth recommending at all.
Feeling like cheated by Mantri.. I was supposed to get my Apt in Mar/apr 2013.. Paid 90 % money and we need to run behind these guys for the completion of the apt.. THESE GUYS WILL TAKE US FOR A RIDE.. Please ask your friends not to Book any in Mantri( if they are going to have another project)
The latest update that I got from Mantri Navratna is that possession will start in the month of October 2013 from A block. These guys are asking for 100 % amount for registration and they say that they will give a compensation of Rs.3 Per Sq.ft ( we cannot get a tea for Rs3) Now they are coming with a plan for the second gate near to the temple.

Thank you all for your reply. Hello Mr. Sundar, I also bought a flat in A block. My friend who is another buyer recently went to look at the apartment. He says only A block seems to be completed and that too only 70%. There still seems to be more interior work to be done in A block. Initially, Mantri said they are going to complete all 9 blocks in parallel and handover all the apartments at the same time. The reason they stated is that they do not want to release one block at a time and have residents occupying while other blocks are under construction. I'm not sure if they are still going to hand it over this way. If yes, then there is going to be a lot of delay because none of the other blocks are completed. Not even half finished. Does anyone know if they will pay us interest for all the months they delay?
Hi It appears there will be a delay of about 3 months in handing over(Expected 1st July). There is also a talk about paying interest for the delayed period.
I also, understand against the original plan the entrance between Block C & D is not going to be available for drive way, the premise on which I booked a flat in Block D (like many others). This is going to be an inconvenience to all the residents. The main entrance is going to face traffic jam, with only single entry & exit points.
Hi...if the documents says that you have to pay the entire amount after the construction is completed then they should not force you. I suggest you yo get in touch with other owners through the owners group of this project. It will help you to discuss the matter any time and more elaborately.
