Q: I made a mistake of buying a villa at Media village, Greater Noida from Jamil Khan of Samiah Builders in 2008. I was foolish enough to pay all the money upfront. I was promised that the colony will be completed in 2009. It is now 2013 and the place still looks like a ghost town. Construction work stopped 2 years ago and Mr Khan is not owning up to his responsibility. None of the promised parks, swimming pools, common room, children play area sauna etc have been completed. I am still waiting for the interior work like fitted kitchen, bathroom, floors and decorations etc to be completed in my villa. As it is unlikely that Mr Khan would own upto his responsibility, my advice to everyone out there is to deal with another reputable builder and believe me Mr Khan is not one of them.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Hi Guys,
I am a first time property buyer. I am searching for a suitable apartment in Greater Noida. My friends highly spoke about this location, Greater Noida. I need to know about this location. How is this location? What about near by availability?
According to sources, Greater Noida is helpfully connected with Noida and Delhi. While Noida can be reached directly through the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Delhi can be reached by taking the Kalindi Kunj road or the Delhi-Noida-Delhi Highway after entering Noida.
Another circle of metro line is proposed to unite Greater Noida which will begin Noida City Center, go through Sectors 71, 78 and 121 and after that join the Bodaki railroad station in Greater Noida. This route line will keep running along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and achieve Knowledge Park 4 by means of Pari Chowk, at long last completion at Bodaki.
The 6 path highway which connected Greater Noida to Ghaziabad has recently been opened for public use. This road would further get joined with the Eastern Periphery Road. In the North and Yamuna Expressway in the South. The UP govt has at last cleared the project for the Eastern and Western Periphery road, which would start a second period of real estate future in Greater Noida upcoming years.
With many well known and reputed schools setting up their branches in Greater Noida, the education sector must enormous flip. Various surely understood Universities like Galgotia, Gautam Buddha University have as of now come up and various schools are coming up , creating Greater Noida an educational hub.
You can locate various famous real estate players such as Supertech, Amrapali, Ajnara, Mahagun and so on have launched a few residential and business ventures in diverse areas of these twin urban cities. Development Authorities have ventured into give better infrastructural facilities and quick connectivity to these locations keeping in mind the end goal to advance realty development that has driven quick paced increment in the interest for housing.
With the metro coming to Greater Noida in a couple of years, a few IT organizations are looking at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Greater Noida for setting up their workplaces. While the development of openings for work will even now take around 5-6 years, an investment can be viewed as lucrative if one has think of a long investment.
As per my knowledge, Greater Noida was at first conceptualized to oblige Noida's increasing residential demand. Then again, with a few investors and home purchasers getting adhered on choices closer to Noida, for example, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Noida Extension, the development of residence in Greater Noida didn't happen as it was normal.
Dear Sir, it was not a society promoted by the said builder. Media Village is group housing society and land was allotted by the Greator Noida Authority in homogeneous category. non-media person cant be a primary member of this society. so if the said builder had not informed you about this then it is a case of fraud and cheating. you can take legal step.
I agree with you. Unfortunately, I am an NRI. I bought this property so that I can return to my native country after retirement. But I paid a heavy price for my stupidity by trusting this builder. There are 115 members in the Media Village society. like me quite a few of them are NRIs. I am at loss as to why those members who are resident in India and have also lost out are not taking any action against this builder. I have attended a few meeting of the society members in the past where a number of actions were agreed but to date nothing appears to have been done.

Hi, why do not you take legal help? if there are many people who are facing the same issue, i think you should complain , rather written complaint should be registered.
