I have a flat in vbhc blk 16/303 not yet registered.

Q: Water is leaking celing of hall and two bed rooms. Is this a major problem. Who has to rectify the problem ,construction or mantainance? I gave a written complaint at maintenance office. one week over not yet fixed the problem. pl any body from vbhc discuss. sujata apartment resident

Usually all the maintenance work should be taken care of by the builder at-least for one year. Ans as you said that the flat is not registered then the builder only should repair all the leakage work.

If the builder is not fixing the problem, you can take legal action. Same issue had occurred with one of my neighbours and they had filed case in consumer court too..

It is construction defect.. Builder has to check it..Had u got possession of the flat recently?

Sujata, as you have already bought flat there, you can join the owners group of the apartment community. Through this you can meet other owners of the project and you can post your concern there.. May be there are many others facing the same problem as yours.. To join click Join Owners Group of VBHC Vaibhava..

Of course it is a great problem.. it's gonna be a mess when water is leaking.. Also it harms the construction. The life of the wall/ceiling starts reducing if there is seepage problem. Do something immediately..

Hi Sujata, if the registration is not done then it is the builder who have to rectify the all the problems related to the project.
