Q: Hi,

What is the process and considerations one needs to factor while trying to invest and buy Land in Rajarhat area in Kolkata.
Its most probably an Agricultural Land, so what legal considerations and process one needs to know and follow before investing.

Rajarhat, Kolkata comes under 24-parganas district, its a municipal area.

yes, wat is the Process to convert an Agricultural land to Residential Land. its an Agricultural Plot currently, and development of Raod and Utilities is happeing around the area.
I request to know the process for conversion and what other Legal things I must Consider before investing.

Few things before buying any land are Location, Can you build on it, Types of lots, Zoning, Permitting, Restrictive Covenants, Utilities and Roads, Liens and easements, Surveys and Costs to develop the land
