There are two forms, which confirms the fulfillment of property tax payment in Bangalore. Such forms include:
Form-IV
Also known as White form, it should be used by only those whose property did not experience any change in built-up area, its occupancy, usage or return that has been filed last year.
Form-V
This blue form must be filled by only those property owners who are accountable for the changes in usage, built-up area, occupancy or return in comparison to previous year.
Indusind Bank, IDBI, SBI, Corporation Bank, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC, YES Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and Maharashtra Bank. The taxpayers will be given computerized receipts at banks.
According to sources, the service will be open to the public in phase manner, with the first covering 50 branches (IDBI Bank and Corporation Bank). In the second phase, 150 more bank branches will be covered by September second week. The third and the final phase will be in place by October under which 350 bank branches will facilitate the payment of property tax.
According to BBMP officials the idea is to facilitate smooth transaction of property tax payments and minimize rush. The service has been introduced keeping in mind that not everybody can make payments via net banking. Bank branches are an easy alternative for those who don't prefer online transactions.
On August 19, BBMP inaugurated the first such facility at the IDBI Bank branch on Mission Road which will be replicated in various nationalized and private banks.

If the tax amount is less than Rs 1000 then you can pay by cash, otherwise only cheques or DD in favor of Commissioner, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike is accepted
