Namma Metro Green Line is witnessing increase in the number of commuters ever since the operation was extended from Peenya Industrial area to Nagasandra. The extended line has also increased the revenue for the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited
The residential property price has seen a great rise in demand and the resale value of existing residential properties in the vicinity has appreciated by nearly 30 to 35 per cent in the last three years
According to sources, The maximum fare would be Rs 10 and the proposed from end to end is Rs. 23. The maximum fare will still come down if the commuter uses smart cards availing 15 per cent discount.
Good news Guys!! The 10-km line of Namma Metro Reaches 3 and 3A between Peenya Industry and Sampige Road Metro Stations, will be operational to the people at 6 a.m. on March 1
Reach 3 and 3A between Swastik Circle and Yeshwanthpur and Peenya is expected to ferry 45,000 passengers per day when opened. Only 6.7 km, on the 42-km first phase of the metro project, has become operational so far. :)
I think they are going to miss this deadline as well. According to an official. The CSR would take at least a month to conduct safety tests after thoroughly studying the line.
November is just about to end but there are no signs of the start of commercial operations on Reach 3 (Swastik to Yeshwantpur) and 3A (Yeshwantpur to Peenya) of Namma Metro as promised by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). :( :(
There are two stretches on the north line: one is Sampige Road-Yeshwanthpur, having a distance of 5.1km, and the other is Yeshwanthpur-Peenya, spanning 4.8km.
BMRCL is hoping high on meeting the revised deadline to start commercial operations of Namma Metro on the north line (reach 3 and reach 3A) by September.
