I believe there is no place which is well connected as Electronic city. awesome bus service, neat place, and peace of mind specially on weekends.. people spend so much to get a clam and quite place
the only thing i dont like here and it might be funny also , people tend to use High Beam always.. very annoying

Both the areas are good for investment purpose. Whitefield has its own charm with lot of companies, schools etc. The property price is expected to rise by 30 to 40 percent in next 2 years As well as Electronic city is expected to see 35 to 40 percent in next two years because of the PRR, metro, elevated corridor and offices.

Whitefield is well connected to the city centre and International Airport is also well conected via Buddigere cross. The development in this area is also happening rapidly. But the areas is having water problem. The interior areas lacks proper planning. The roads are narrow and congested. Whereas Electronic City has easy accessibility to the city center through elevated expressway. It has good connectivity to other major hubs of the city such as Hosur Road, Sarjapur Road, Bannerghatta Road, Outer Ring Road, Whitefield, Kanakapura Road Bommasandra Industrial Area and Attibele Industrial Area.

You cannot say E City is the best place to invest. I stay in Whitefield and the area is far better than Electronic City. The development is wholesome in nature. Whitefiled is complete city within itself. The area is having malls like InOrbit Mall, Forum Value Mall and Phoenix city whereas presently there is no single mall in Ecity.

Hi Dilip, You are telling that Whitefield is a better area where as Whitefield suffers from water shortage mainly during summer months as the region relies mostly on groundwater. With increase in number of housing and office space, the demand has been multiplying over the years and groundwater depletion has been alarmingly high which is the main concern. Moreover the real estate market is also saturated.

If you are looking to invest either in Electronic city or Whitefield I would advice you to go for Electronic City as the real estate market in Whitefield is already saturated.

I agree with Mr Gajendra....the whole electronic city is expected to see an uplift within two years and the apartments close to Electronic City will definitely get good returns. All the malls and multiplexes will also get ready by 2014 near Wipro .Moreover talks are going on for PRR, elevated corridor and metro which will come in late 2017. So better go for E City :) :)
