Can A Builder Sell Individual Flats To Different Owners In A Building Constructed On A 40x60 Land Plot In Bangalore?

Q: I am interested to purchase an apartment in Bangalore. It is constructed on a 60x40 (2400 sft) land plot. There are only 4 flats in Stilt+G+2 building. G has 2 flats and 1st and 2nd floor has 1 flat each. I want to know as per building bye-laws, whether it is legal for the builder to sell individual flats to different owners in a small 60x40 site. Or does the entire building have to be owned by a single owner?

Hi Amit, Yes a builder can sell individual flats to different owners in a building constructed on a 40x60 land plot In Bangalore. These flats are known as builders apartment. These kind of flats are sold for cheaper price than a flat and they wont be having any kind of amenities.
