Is LBT applicable on flat, registered before 1st April 2013
Q: I have purchased a flat at Baner, Pune and registration was done on 6th June 2012. It was ready possession flat. Builder has completion letter. Now builder want to do sale deal. Is LBT applicable ? And is LBT applicable for flat owners who booked flat before compilation ?
We did the ‘agreement to sale’ for a flat in Feb 2013... but Sale deed was pending, It was supposed to be done after the final payment to the seller. Now we have cleared all the due. We had already payed the 5% for the stamp duty at the time of Agreement to sale. Do we still have to pay the LBT while doing the sale dead?
Hi, you will have to pay the additional 1% as LBT along with the stamp duty charges. I would advice you to contact a local lawyer for further clarifications.
